Silk is excited to present the debut collaboration between two of progressive's great talents, Urban Breathe & Ad Brown, whose common label credits include Anjunadeep and Armada. "Catching Stars," which received early radio support from Jaytech, beautifully blends the signatures of both artists, beginning with Urban Breathe's rolling bassline, classic house percussion, and "celestial" pads (pun intended). As the track picks up steam, Ad's delicate melodic stabs enter the fray, including a variation on a hook from his classic "Chasing Rainbows."

Silk fixture Luiz B, who has been regularly supported by Matt Darey (and remixed Matt's recent hit "Lost at Sea"), offers a stunning remix, with a much heavier, dancefloor-friendly low end. With brilliant new melodies and textures infused throughout, he also manages to punctuate his visionary soundscape with motifs from the original.

Urban Breathe flies solo on the second original in the package: a pensive after-hours tune entitled "Inside The Woods." As per usual, he centers the track around a deep bassline, with delicate side melodies and side-chained pads filling out the atmosphere. A cinematic breakdown adds a darker, more brooding texture to the tune.

David Akermanis [Silk, Shah-Music] adds a little more "hop" in his take, with a funkier lead bass propelling the tune. Perhaps best known for his internationally acclaimed show "Vital Radio," Akermanis also adds some lovely new melodies, including a crystalline piano, which is featured in the break.
